The Office of the Assistant Secretary for Technology Policy’s (ASTP) Office of the Chief Artificial Intelligence Officer (OCAIO) is responsible for leading the annual HHS AI use case inventory. The artificial intelligence (AI) use case publication requirement was initiated consistent with Executive Order 13960 "Promoting the Use of Trustworthy Artificial Intelligence in the Federal Government" and may be further enhanced by Office of Management and Budget (OMB) memoranda.
