Collaboration of the Health IT Policy and Standards Committees

The prior Health IT Joint Committee has been replaced by the Health IT Advisory Committee.

The Health IT Policy and Standards Committees often met jointly to collaborate and make recommendations to the National Coordinator for Health IT on the adoption, implementation, and standards of a nationwide health information infrastructure, including the electronic exchange and use of health information.
