The SIM Initiative provides financial and technical support to states to design and test innovative, state-based multi-payer health care delivery and payment system reform.
This comprehensive set of tools provide technical support and expertise to SIM states, and can be leveraged to support health IT innovation in care delivery and payment systems. ONC is committed to supporting all states to work towards the adoption of health IT and promote exchange and interoperability so that information is available where and when it matters.
The resources found here are the result of a partnership with the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Innovation (CMMI) at the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) to develop specialized technical assistance as well as comprehensive online health IT tools and resources for State Innovation Model (SIM) awardees.
